Estrella Resources has reported results from a MobileMTd UAV electromagnetic survey at its Ira Miri Project in Timor-Leste. The survey identified strong conductivity features extending upward from depth near the Laleno Dome, providing new targets for deeper mineral exploration.
Based on the MobileMTd results, Estrella has designed an initial ~3,000 m RC and diamond drilling program to test three priority deep targets. Additional shallow conductivity anomalies, potentially associated with manganese-bearing rocks, are also planned for drill testing. The proposed deep holes will be the deepest mineral exploration drilling undertaken in Timor-Leste to date.
The results demonstrate the capability of MobileMTd technology to map subsurface electrical structures and identify exploration targets from near surface to significant depths, supporting exploration for both manganese and deeper mineral systems.
Drilling is expected to commence in early September 2026.
