Airborne Geological Survey Technician
Expert Geophysics Limited is hiring Three Airborne Geological Survey Technicians to perform the following duties:
- Install, maintain and troubleshoot airborne geophysical equipment.
- Assemble, configure, operate and maintain geophysical survey measuring and logging instruments and equipment.
- Prepare and send survey notes and reports to the office.
- Collect data from airborne and ground data logging equipment.
- Preliminary processing, evaluation and analysis of collected data.
- Send collected data the office for further processing.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment in the field while keeping good communication with engineers.
- Supervise and coordinate crew members’ activities
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Electronic Technician college diploma or equivalent experience.
Strong soldering skills. - Practical hands-on experience in operating/maintaining/troubleshooting electronic equipment.
- Practical hands-on experience in assembling and repair of cables and connectors.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills in Linux and Windows operating systems sufficient to write reports, use custom data processing and monitoring software, transfer data to the office.
- Job requires ability to work with tools and materials.
- Ability to lift and manipulate objects of up to 50 lbs.
- Strong problem-solving techniques.
Terms of Employment:
- Salary: $80,000-$105,000 per year.

Technical Designer, RPAS Devision
Job duties:
- Collaborate with team members to develop solutions for Expert Geophysics’ industry-leading airborne geophysical survey equipment
- Develop subsystems in accordance with regulatory and technical guidelines, perform tests and produce documentation associated with the development of heavy-lift RPAS

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university engineering program (Robotics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, ECE, or Aerospace Engineering)
- Possession or ability to procure Transport Canada Advanced Operations or L1C Pilot Certificate, as well as ROC-A
- Knowledge or ability to learn and apply implications of Canadian regulatory framework for RPAS design (e.g., Advisory Circular (AC) No. 922-001)
- Engineering design team experience or equivalent, preference given to aerial robotics or mobile robotics involvement
- Strong understanding of mobile robotics and perception, computer vision, machine learning
- Working knowledge of Linux OS, ROS 2, C, Python
- Ability to produce organized, verifiable work artefacts in line with engineering best practices
- Ability to lift and manipulate objects of up to 50 lbs
- A valid motor vehicle license (G class)
- Ability to travel, to field-test equipment and support prototypes in field

This role partners closely with leadership to support employees throughout the full employment lifecycle while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and promoting a positive and engaged workplace culture. This is a newly created role designed to support the continued growth of the company.
Job duties:
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, including preparing job postings, screening candidates, coordinating and facilitating interviews, verifying credentials and references, and extending employment offers.
- Coordinate and continuously improve the onboarding experience ensuring new hires integrate quickly into the team.
- Review, develop and improve HR-related policies and procedures.
- Address workplace issues, policy violations, and employee relations matters while promoting open dialogue and resolution.
- Lead the performance management process, providing guidance and coaching to leaders and employees.
- Design and implement leadership development initiatives in support of succession planning.

Fleet Maintenance and Shop Technician
Responsibilities:
- Fleet Maintenance & Inspections
- Perform scheduled maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles, including three pickup trucks, cargo vans, and three trailers.
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues promptly, prioritizing field-readiness. Small jobs are to be done in the shop and large jobs identified and sent to a licensed local mechanic.
- Fleet Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain detailed service records for each vehicle and trailer.
- Track routine maintenance schedules and notify management of upcoming needs.
- Document repairs and parts replaced, ensuring accurate records for audits and inspections.
- Keep up-to-date with latest inspection reports from deployed vehicles and communicate expected maintenance intervals and recommendations to crews in the field.
- General Shop Duties
- Assist with various tasks around the shop when not busy with fleet management duties.
- Health & Safety Compliance
- Adhere to all safety protocols within the shop and when working on fleet vehicles.
- Keep work areas clean and organized, following best practices for equipment and tool use.
Requirements:
