Shipping and Fulfillment Technician

Job duties:

• Assemble crates and prepare systems for shipment utilizing an inventory list
• Quickly and accurately pick, pack, and label systems and system components for shipping
• Perform quality checks to ensure the correct items and quantities are packed

• Keep detailed and accurate reports and documentation
• Ensure all items are safely and securely packed to prevent damage
• Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to occupational health and safety regulations
• Maintain a clean and orderly working environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members effectively
• Assisting with other shop tasks when not actively picking or packing systems

Requirements:

• Completion of high school diploma or equivalent
• Mechanically inclined
• G license in good standing
• Knowledge and understanding of basic hand tools and measurement principles
• Comfortable with working in Imperial and Metric systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and at a steady pace
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift safely throughout the workday
• Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills
• Experience working with standard Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Must follow workplace procedures and guidelines to ensure safety
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English

Asset qualifications:

• Experience with metal work, woodwork, fiberglass
• Have or able to obtain current Forklift Operator License
• Experience with inventory management software
• Ability to create and implement standardized shipping procedures
• Previous warehouse experience

Salary:

$21-26/hr
